Lhasa and Namtso Lake Tour
Day 1 Arrive in Lhasa
Your Tibet tour starts with the Tibetan tour guide greeting you with the white Hada. After check in the hotel in Lhasa, rest for acclimatization. Overnight 3* or 4* hotel in Lhasa.
Day 2 Explore in Lhasa
Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple are usually recognized as two most important sites in Lhasa. Both of them are listed in the UNESCO world heritage and in our first-day sightseeing in Lhasa, we’ll visit them as well as the bustling Barkhor Street outside Jokhang Temple. Overnight 3* or 4* hotel in Lhasa [B].
Day 3 Explore in Lhasa Suburb
If your travel time is not very tight, your “must-see” sites in Lhasa should include Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery as well. These two monasteries are located with 10km from Lhasa downtown in the west and north respectively. You’ll have the chance to see Lamas reading the sutras and debating on Buddhism scripture. Overnight 3* or 4* hotel in Lhasa [B].
Day 4 Lhasa - Namtso Lake (or Damxiong)
The famous Namtso Lake is about 260km from Lhasa. Due to the high altitude, the accommodation there is quite limited. If you wish, we can drive you to Damxiong which is about 70km from Namtso Lake, for the overnight stay. Overnight hotel in Damxiong or guest house at Namtso Lake [B].
Day 5 Namtso or Damxiong - Lhasa
Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the sky lake enough and then we’ll drive back to Lhasa. On the way, it is optional for you to pay a visit to Yangbajing Hot Spring where you can take bath at own cost. Overnight 3* or 4* hotel in Lhasa [B].
Day 6 Leave
Today you’ll say good-bye to your Tibetan tour guide and driver at the airport or train station. Your wonderful Tibet holy city and holy lake tour ends. [B]
For private tours, we'll arrange a private vehicle, driver and tour guide for you and your friends or relatives. The itinerary can be customized to meet your requirement and you can decide the travel date. The tour price is different for different group size and travel seasons. The tour price usually includes:
- All accommodation (twin-sharing basis at hotels)
- One private vehicle and one experienced driver
- A Tibetan English-speaking tour guide
- All necessary Tibet travel permits

- Conservation fee for visiting Mt. Everest Base Camp
