Terms and Conditions
Bookings and Payment
Bookings are understood accepted
when TTP issues an official confirmation letter confirming all the
items you have booked.
The payment is mainly consisted of two parts: Deposit and Balance. The tour booking deposit shall be paid when you confirm the trip with us. If there is any flight or train booking left to us, the relevant cost shall be paid in advance as well to help secure the tickets. Please find our booking policy in details below:
- If the booking is made two months (60 days) prior to your arrival in Lhasa, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure your reservation when you confirm the trip with us;
- If the booking is made within two months (60 days), but 15 days prior to your arrival in Lhasa, a deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required;
- If the booking is made within 15 days prior to your arrival in Lhasa, you are required to pay the tour cost in full to secure smooth arrangements.
For the moment, we receive overseas booking mainly through the following three ways:
1. Bank Wire Transfer: probably taking a longer time and costing higher as it is usually done through some intermediate banks;
2. PayPal (www.PayPal.com): the transaction fee for our verified Paypal business account is about 4-6%;
3. Western Union (www.westernunion.com): It usually costs lowest among the three.
No contract will exist between you and TTP until we have received the required deposit.
Cancellation
If you would like to cancel your
confirmed bookings, please try to note us in writing (e-mail or fax) as early as possible
prior to your arrival in Lhasa. In such case,
the 100USD/p.p deposit will then be retained as the cancellation charge.
Meanwhile your booking will be extended for half a year time, i.e. the 100USD/p.p deposit you paid
will be included back if you travel within next six months time. If you cancel part or all of your tour during traveling due to your
own reasons, there will be no refund for any payment you have already
made.
Modification
We will modify a tour itinerary
to your satisfaction without limit before it is confirmed. Even
after confirmation, there are still two times of free modifications.
However too late changes might not be workable and from the third
time we will charge a 15USD for each new modification.
If you want to make some changes after you arrive in Tibet, we will do what we can to meet your requirements but the extra cost thus occurred shall be borne by you.
