Before travel to Tibet, we shall first have a look at the maps to get a clear idea as for where to go and how the route would look like.
1. The first map here is an administrative map of Tibet illustrating the six prefectures in Tibet, i.e. Shigatse(Xigatse) Prefecture, shannan Prefecture, Nyingchi Prefecture, Ngari Prefecture, Nagqu Prefecture and Chamdo Prefecture. You can click on one of them for some information about the main attractions there.
2. The second map shows main roads in Tibet. Lhasa is the center where you can find transport to most places in Tibet including Mt. Evereset Base Camp, Mt. Kailash, etc. As for getting in or out of Tibet by flights and trains, please check relevant flight schedule and train schedule.
