Day 01 Arrive in Lhasa
Accommodation: Standard 3-star Hotel
The tour guide will meet you at Gonggar Airport and greet you with a white scarf (called Kada) in a Tibet traditional way. Then transfer you to Lhasa City (100km's driving). On the way, you will see the big Nietang Buddha engraved in a mountain wall. Upon arrival, just take rest for high altitude acclimatization.

Day 02 Sightseeing in Lhasa
Accommodation: Standard 3-star Hotel [B]
We will start from the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple. Around the temple is the famous bustling Barkhor Street where you can get a close touch with local Tibetans.
In the afternoon, we will visit the most beautiful splendor in Tibet - Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibetan people's wisdom and power. Beside the numerous art pieces it stores, you can also have a bird-eye view of the whole Lhasa City and the undulating mountain ranges in distance.
And in the evening, pay a visit to a Tibetan family.

Day 03 Sightseeing in Lhasa

Today we will visit the great Gelugpa monastery - Drepung Monastery about 8km west of central Lhasa. It was once the world's largest monastery housing more than 10,000 monks. If we are lucky, we can enter into a dark columned hall quiet easily to see and hear the lilting, booming, chanting of sutras.
In the afternoon, we will visit Sera Monastery, about 5km north of central Lhasa. Here you can see the interesting "Buddhism Scriptures Debating" between Lamas.

Day 04 Lhasa - Gyantse

In the fresh morning air, we'll drive 270km to Gyantse, a famous historical town in Tibet, crossing the Karo La Pass (5010m) and the Khamba La Pass (4800m) with a beautiful panorama of the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake on the way. Upon arrival, visit Pelkhor Monastery for its superb Kumbu Stupa, a stunning architectural wonder in Tibet.

Day 05 Gyantse - Shigatse
Accommodation: Standard 3-star Hotel [B]
Drive 90km well-paved road to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. Upon arrival, we'll visit the foremost attraction there - Tashilumpo Monastery. and then wander around the old town of Shigatse for its nicely decorated Tibetan houses, interesting market and bazaar...

Day 06 Shigatse - Ngamring
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Drive about 220km to Ngamring. From this day on, we will be on the road to the Western Tibet - Ali. On the way, you can always enjoy the stunning beautiful snow-capped Himalayan Range.

Day 07 Ngamring - Saga
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Drive 250km to Saga.

DAY 08 Saga - Paryang
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Drive 260Km to Paryang.

DAY 09 Paryang - Mansarovar
Accommodation: Tent [B+L+D]
Drive 265Km to Mansarovar. stay at Hor Guesthouse near the northern shore of Mansarovar.

DAY 10 Lake Mansarovar
Accommodation: Budget Guest House / Tent [B / B+L+D]
Start a morning pleasant drive around Lake Mansarovar (30km) reaching Chiu Gompa, one of the ancient location where Hinduism's Pooja was practiced. After arrival, we will try a holy bath there.

DAY 11 Manasarovar - Darchen
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Drive to Darchen (Base Camp of Mt. Kailash). Our guide will arrange Yaks and Yak helpers for our next 3 days Kora around Mt. Kailash, and in the mean time all group members will have a last chance for their own physical evaluation. For those not feeling so comfortable can choose to stay in Tarchen or Chiu Gompa near Lake Mansarovar, while others can prepare for the next 3 days trek around Mt. Kailash

DAY 12 Manasarovar Base - Diraphuk (22 Km) via Tarboche (Day 1)
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse / Tent (approx trekking time 5-6hours) [B+L+D]
Land cruise will drive up to Tarboche 8Km if possible. Trek about 22Km to Diraphuk.
After breakfast drive to Tarboch (8km) and start trek (Kora of Mt. Kailash) to Diraphuk (5000m) light lunch on the way, dinner at camp, o/n guest house or fixed camp.

DAY 13 Dhirapuk - Zuthulpuk (20 Km) via Dolma pass (5637mts) (Day 2)
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse / Tent (approx trekking time 5-6hours) [B+L+D]
Trek about 20 Km to Zuthulphuk, this is the day all pilgrims talk about, the most difficult journey through the Yatra, slowly climb over Dolmala Pass (5637m) and descend down to Zuthulphuk, enroute pass through Gaurikund.

DAY 14 Zuthulpuk - Darchen - Hor (Day 3)
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Trek about only 6 km down to the point where our landcruiser will be waiting for us, drive to Darchen (10km), after lunch continue drive 30 km to Hor.

DAY 15 Mansarovar - Paryang
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Drive the same way back to Paryang.

DAY 16 Prayang - Saga
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Drive to Nyalam

DAY 17 Saga - Nyalam
Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse [B]
Drive 330km to Nyalam.

DAY 18 Nyalam - Kodari border - Kathmandu
Accommodation: Standard 3 Star Hotel [B]
Drive to Friendship Bridge and meet our Nepal side staff and continue the trip back to Kathmandu (140km).

DAY 19 [B]
Transfer to the airport for the plane to your next destination. Your wonderful Kailash Kora/Yatra Tour ends.
