Kailash Manasarovar Yatra
Day 01 Arrive in Lhasa
Meet you at the airport or train station and transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa;
Day 02 Sightsee in Lhasa
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temmple, Barkhor Street and a local Tibetan family;
Day 03 Sightsee in Lhasa
Visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery;
Day 04 Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse
Visit Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, Karola Glacier, Pelkhor Monastery and Tashilumpo Monastery;
Day 05 Shigatse - Saga
From this day on, we'll be on the road to the Western Tibet to Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. On the way, you can always enjoy the stunning view of the Hiamalayan Range..
Day 06 Saga - Paryang
Drive to Paryang;
Day 07 Paryang - Lake Manasarovar:
Today we'll arrive at the norther shore of the holy Lake Manasarovar.
Day 08 Lake Manasarovar-Darchen
Morning pleasant drive around the Lake Manasarovar to Chiu Gompa and then we'll get forward to the Base Camp of the Kailash Trek - Darchen. Upon arrival, we'll prepare for the next three days trek, incl. hiring yaks and yakman.
Day 09 Kailash Kora
Drive about 8km to Tarboche and start the Kailash trek to Dirapuk (4860m);
Day 10 Kailash Kora
Trek to Zuthulpuk (4760m) via the DolmaLa Pass (5200m) and Gauri Kund;
Day 11 Kailash Kora - Lake Manasarovar
Complete the Kailash trek and after lunch in Darchen, we'll drive to Lake Manasarovar (Horchu);
Day 12 Lake Manasarovar - Dongba
drive to Dongba via Paryang;
Day 13 Dongba - Nyalam
Drive to the border to Nyalam via Pelkutso Lake.
Day 14 Nyalam - Zhangmu - Kathmandu
Drive to Zhangmu and go through the China immigaration and customs formalities. Our local partner in Kathmandu will be awaiting for you at the border and drive you to Kathmandu. Your wonderful Tibet Kailash Yatra Trip ends.
