Itinerary Sketch: Lhasa - Mt. Everest Base Camp - Kathmandu
Day 01 Arrive in Lhasa
Meet you at the airport or train station and transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa;
Day 02 Sightsee in Lhasa
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temmple, Barkhor Street and a local Tibetan family;
Day 03 Sightsee in Lhasa
Visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery;
Day 04 Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse
Visit Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, Karola Glacier, Pelkhor Monastery and its superb Kumbu Stupa;
Day 05 Shigatse - Tingri (Shegar)
Visit the Tashilumpo Monastery and then drive to Tingri.
Day 06 Tingri - Rongbuk Monastery / Mt. Everest Base Camp
Visit Rongbuk Monastery and Mt. Everest Base Camp;
Day 07 Mt. Everest Base Camp - Zhangmu
After enjoy the splendid early morning view of Mt. Everest, we'll drive to the interesting border town of Zhangmu;
Day 08 Departure
See you off at the Friendship Bridge (Kodari). Usually you can get the transport to Kathmandu here easily (we can also help arrange private transport if necessary). Your wonderful Lhasa-Kathmandu tour ends.
Trip Cost: it is different for different group size and travel seasons. Based on current discount, it costs around 5,450CNY/p.p approx. 825USD/p.p (6PAX) - 7,490CNY/p.p approx. 1,134USD/p.p (2PAX) for travelling in May and June 2011.

3-star hotel accommodation in Lhasa and Shigatse, and local best available accommodation at other places;
One Toyota 4500 Land Cruiser and one experienced driver (for a group of 5 or 6PAX, we'll arrange two jeeps);
